About Cornerstone Clinic
Cornerstone Clinic is a group of board certified Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners who practice broad spectrum family medicine. We care for infants, children, adults, geriatrics, and four of our doctors provide full obstetric care with a family oriented philosophy. We practice evidence based medicine with caring hands. Our patients come to know and trust Cornerstone Clinic as their medical home.

Appointments
Preparing to see a physician
There are check-in administrative tasks that must be completed on every visit before you can see the physician. We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes before you scheduled appointment to ensure these tasks are completed well before the nurse is scheduled to take you back to see the physician. If you arrive 15 minutes or more later than the time you were asked to arrive, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Cancelled or missed appointments
If you will not be able to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible so we can use that appointment time for another patient. If you forget your appointment and do not call to cancel within 12 hours of your appointment time we can elect to charge you a missed appointment fee. If you miss or are late for multiple appointments without notice, our physicians may elect to release you from the practice.
Prescription Refills
Please notify us during your office visit if refills are needed. If a prescription refill is required between office visits, CALL YOUR PHARMACY DIRECTLY. This is the only way we refill medications. Your pharmacy will send an electronic request to our office. If your refill request is approved by your physician it will be authorized within 72 hours (3 business days). Narcotic and controlled substances are only authorized by patient’s physician. If your physician is absent when narcotic refill is requested it will be processed within (3) business days from when your physician returns.
