Matthew J. Hoermann, M.D.

My calling is ‘to serve patients with compassion and kindness while meeting their medical

Core Principles/Values:

I value getting to enjoy the patient-physician relationships that are developed with my patients
by learning as much about them as I can, medically, but also by learning about their
occupations, family members, and interests; thus, allowing me to make a difference in their
whole lives. I enjoy the diversity of caring for and treating patients of all ages.
My background includes growing up in Hillsboro, TX, obtaining undergraduate and medical
school degrees at Texas A&M University, and completing training in family practice residency in
Waco, TX. I have also had the opportunity to go on several foreign medical mission trips. My
wife, Angie, and I have been married for 22 years, and we have five children who fill our days
with excitement and activities. I love spending time with my wife and children. I also enjoy
serving in our church in its various ministries, especially those involving youth and children.
Other interests of mine include sports, bow-hunting, camping, and ranching.
